TLIE is pleased to announce the election of two new directors. 

Richard C. Hile is a partner in Dies & Hile, L.L.P. in Austin. He has a long and active involvement in State Bar of Texas, serving as chair of its board of directors during 1990-91. From 1998 to 2005, he served on the board of directors of the Texas Center for Legal Ethics. He is a Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers and the International Society of Barristers. In 2005, he received the Lola Wright Foundation Award from the Texas Bar Foundation presented in recognition of outstanding public service in advancing and enhancing legal ethics in Texas.

Lonny D. Morrison is a partner in Morrison & Shelton, P.C. in Wichita Falls.  He has a distinguished record of service to the bar, becoming the President of the State Bar of Texas in 1993-1994.  He is a Fellow of both the American College of Trial Lawyers and the International Academy of Trial Lawyers.  He was awarded the President’s Award for Distinguished Service to the State Bar of Texas in both 1991 and 1999.
